I went shooting today, have steel case, before I toss, does anybody here reload it? I know it's not super common to do, if anybody does.

i don't normally shoot steel, but when desert shooting i seem to pick up a dozen or so pounds of it that is left by desert as holes, have almost a 30 gal drum full, will take it for scrap when next i go. a magnet picks it and shot gun shells, up generally come home with several 30 gal trash bags, sure wished i could shove it up some folks arse.
but hey thats just me

Oh yeah, I easily picked up 10lbs of trash today. I just picked up my own steel first, since I could find it and it was clean. the other stuff is just trash.
I have reloaded steel 9MM. I did it mainly as a test, if forbid, it would become necessary at some time in the future. It is not ideal, but doable. I have not tried to reload steel .223/5.56, but I would assume in an emergency, it would be possible.
I've reloaded aluminum 9MM. Works great but probably wouldn't last long.
