    CCW renewal

Interesting this topic came up about the time I asked my other half when her when she needed to renew her CCW. Since I do not have an AZ concealed weapons permit I was not sure how the system worked in AZ. I was surprised on a number of sites the question of how long it took to renew your permit. It seems that if it takes 2 weeks or 2 months it really doesn't matter since the state, at least in her case, gets you the application 90 days before the old license expires. Her renewal date is August 21, 2018 and she received her renewal letter on May 22, 2018.
The only PITA part is the money order or cashiers or certified check.
Is AZ a great place...or what

Sent mine in today. Expires on the 12 of may. Last time it only took 2 weeks counting mail both ways from texas. I wish I got the renewal letter a couple weeks ago before my last trip home I would have mailed it from there and saved a couple days.

I keep the AZ permit cause its cheaper than Texas permit and a way less hassle to renew than get a new one. It works just fine in the states I frequent.

    Tic toc....

Latest turnaround time - 7 calendar days.
Renewal form was picked up by my mail carrier last Saturday at noon, and the shiny new card was here the following Saturday (yesterday).
