If I was smarter, I'd post all of this.
Why is it that those that know the least, know it the loudest?

Seriously nice air ride! I was saving my pennies for a motorized para sailer but got hurt bad enough so I have no balance anymore. Scratch that idea. Now I'm looking at a towed para sailer to tow behind my Trail Rail. Balance won't matter for that since up and down are it. There's no banking or turning, etc.

I worked for thirty years for a large Sheriff's Department and spent some of those years in the Transportation Unit. We went and got the people being extradited, dealt with the Indian Nations, etc. One of our jobs was to be the armed escort on the in State flights. We used a small Cessna for that.

So we're buzzing along one fine day headed West and the lady pilot and I are talking aircraft over the intercom. She's showing me all the neat things that this particular aircraft can do. "It even has an Auto Pilot and it works like this". ....Except it didn't work and we headed for the ground at high speed. She recovered fast and got us back on track. I was looking at the Earth thru the side window and happened to glance back towards her. Yes, I screamed but it was only a little scream, ok???!!! She had the entire dash laid out in her lap and she was yanking at wires on the back like some kind of demented nit picker! I started speaking calmly but might have ended up shouting a little. "Dontcha' think maybe you should wait to take the airplane apart UNTIL AFTER WE'RE ON THE GROUND????" She was like "Yeah I guess so" and stuffed the wires all back inside so she could close it up. For the rest of the way there and on the return trip, I kept an eye on her.
